10th Annual PCIC Europe conference
It is a great honor to welcome you in Istanbul, Turkey, for the 10th Petroleum and Chemical Industry Committee (PCIC) Europe Conference.
The nine previous European conferences took place in Switzerland (twice), The Netherlands, France, Germany, Spain, Norway, Italy and Czech Republic. In parallel, PCIC Europe organized in 2012 the first edition of PCIC Middle East together with ADIPEC in Abu Dhabi, UAE, as most of the Oil & Gas and Chemical companies active in Europe have also great interests in Middle East.Since Middle East concentrates most of the projects of the European companies, PCIC Europe is very pleased to contribute to detect the most challenging situations from technical and safety perspective and to share the good practices between operators, engineering companies and manufacturers.
In this bridge of competence that PCIC Europe Committee established between Europe and Middle East to arise the global expertise of the electrical and instrumentation engineers of the Oil & Gas and Chemical industry, it appeared obvious to set a pillar in Turkey.
This country emerges as the cornerstone between the energy consuming Western Europe and the producing countries in Middle East and Eastern Europe.Because of its strategic geographical position, Turkey benefits from investment in explorationproduction, pipelines and refineries and petrochemical plants.
The Turkish contractors are now expanding their footprint both ways in Europe and in Middle East while the global manufacturers increase their local facilities in this key country.
For all these reasons, the PCIC Europe Committee selected Istanbul to celebrate its 10th anniversary and is very pleased to offer you a unique opportunity to enrich your expertise during the papers and tutorials presentations or panels discussions and to network friendly within the Hospitality Suites and Sponsors events.
